My Own Little World

Sometimes in life we get caught up in what we’re doing, and the things that we need, that we forget about everyone else around us. We become trapped in our own little worlds, oblivious to the things going on around us. All of a sudden everything we’re working towards is for us, for our own purpose, our own good. We lose sight of the reason God placed us here on the earth: to love and serve Him. God wants to use us to make a difference here on the earth in the lives of others, and the only way we can do that is if we step back and look at the bigger picture. Forget about our to do list, our needs, our want, let’s take the time to step back and ask God what He’s calling us to do. We can’t expect to make a difference if we leave ourselves trapped in our own little worlds. We must open our eyes, our hearts, and our worlds to Him and His people.
