Today was the second annual “Mission Blitz” here in K-MO at the First UMC. Over 250 members of the church volunteered to help out in the community in various ways, from making fleece blankets, to planting gardens, to painting the senior center, to handing out chocolate roses. God blessed us with such a beautiful day and volunteers who poured their hearts out into their service. To see young children work along side seniors was such a blessing, as all were doing their best to serve the community and their Lord. God is truly good! Amen!
