Traveling to Chicago, I expected to literally be blown away when we arrived… unfortunately this was not the case! Somehow the Missouri weather followed the 11 churches up to Chicago. We were in the triple digits! 105 degrees! Craziness! The week went pretty well. We worked with the Marcy-Newberry Association on the West side of town. We stayed up in Park Ridge, at the Methodist church of Hilary Clinton! All in all the week was pretty good, some struggled to keep hydrated, but we all went home safe! Praise God!
