This weekend marked my last time at WOW as a CCYM leader. I was privileged to share the stage and host with Tanner, a remarkable leader. This year left me emotional. Knowing that I would never have an experience quite as great at this saddened me. But I am looking forward to what my younger peers will accomplish for future WOWs. I feel blessed to have such a hardworking and diligent leadership team. Everyone had an uplifting and energetic spirit, despite the craziness and slight mishaps every so often.
Unlike other years, I feel like God really spoke. He was so visible, that you couldn’t miss Him surrounding us. Students rushed the stage during our worship band, the Kenny Carter Band. It touched my heart to see their passion and faith. Andy Raines, the Passion Painter, blessed us with his creativity and visions of God. Gungor spoke to our hearts, connecting us all together. Our speakers shared their stories, encouraging students to find their place in God’s story.
I feel blessed to have been a part of such an inspiring and heart-warming event. Thank you to all who helped us make this year the best yet. Words cannot express my gratitude.
