Tempus Fugit.

Tempus fugit. Latin for “time flees.” I feel that this is the best description of my emotions of senior year. Time flees. One minute I’ve got 121 school days until I graduate and another I have only 34 school days left. Five months ago I spent my time celebrating homecoming week. Three months ago I auditioned for the All State Band. This month was my last CCYM meeting. Yesterday my cap and gown arrived. Time flees. I remember at the beginning of the year I was wishing that graduation day would come sooner, and now I’m wishing I had more days before I leave. In 64 days, I will graduate from high school. There are 1,536 hours left to make this year something great. 92,160 minutes to prepare for what is coming next in my life. 5,529,600 breaths before I walk across the graduation stage and finish this chapter of my life. While at times I’m scared and feel that I’m not ready and that I need more time, I know that I am prepared for what life throws at me, and I’m excited to see where it takes me!
