Crazy Awesome Exciting NEWS!

Almost two months ago I embarked on a journey – one which I knew not the duration or final destination. It’s been a leap of faith and trusting in God. And today I can finally tell you some crazy, awesome, exciting, wonderful, fantastic, shout it from the rooftop news!

I’ve been hired as Frontenac UMC’s Youth Director!

I’m so excited and couldn’t feel more blessed! Everyone in my life has been so supportive, and God has answered my prayers during this semester’s job search. I can’t wait to dive in and really engage with the youth.

This morning I was introduced to the congregation and was welcomed into the church. Afterwards, I had lunch with the wonderful Pastor Blair, Blair’s mother, and Brenda, a dedicated volunteer in the youth program. Wednesday is my first official evening with the youth, although I have met many of them during part of the hiring process.

I ask that you keep the church, the youth, and myself in your prayers – that we may be a light into this community and servants to God’s people!
