Thankfulness: Day 27

Today I am thankful for FLU SHOTS and VACCINATIONS.

Today I ventured to Hy-Vee’s pharmacy for my flu shot. Don’t get me wrong, I hate needles and would do anything to avoid them – but the last thing a person wants is the flu.

After waiting around for nearly 15, I finally got my flu shot. I’m thankful for flu shots and vaccinations because they help to prevent us from getting sick. They build our immune system. Think of all the diseases we would constantly be at risk for if we didn’t have vaccinations. So be thankful for those needles!
