We headed over to Magdala – the town in which Mary Magdalene was from. It was an interesting site as areas had been found and excavated […] Closer to the water was a church. Inside the building were different chapels dedicated to different miracles Jesus performed.

Magdala was an interesting site to visit. As they have worked to excavate the remains of the city, you could see the size of rooms, homes and buildings. It was remarkable to look at – imagining Jesus in this area, walking by these places during his life.
I especially liked the church in Magdala. It was beautiful in its uniqueness. It was comprised of several different chapels that each highlight a different miracle performed by Jesus. The atrium was also very special – but I’ll share more on that tomorrow.
