Thankfulness: Day 11

Today I am thankful for SACRIFICES.

Each day we have to make sacrifices. Some big. Some small. Some change our lives forever. Others don’t make a significant impact. But we make them. Despite how they make us feel, we all make sacrifices.

Today we remember the sacrifices those before us have made to protect our freedom. We show our thanks and appreciation for those who sacrificed their lives so that we may live.

But today I am thankful for all of the sacrifices that my friends and my family have made for me. Sometimes we simply expect others to make sacrifices for us. And we let them sacrifice without showing our gratitude for their sacrifice.

Today I am thankful. For the sacrifices I’ve made. The sacrifices my friends and family have made for me. And most importantly the sacrifices that complete strangers have made for me.
